Carry-forward leave refers to the practice of allowing employees to carry over unused vacation or paid time off (PTO) from one year/month to the next. In many companies, employees are granted a certain amount of annual leave, but if they don't utilize all of their allocated time off within the calendar year, they might lose it. However, with a carry-forward leave policy, employees can retain a portion of their unused leave entitlement and use it in the following year.
